Winter 2017

I am teaching COMS 611: History/Theory/Technology and COMS 350: Sound Culture. I’m also doing a bunch of service, so travel and writing will be limited. Current writing projects include missile mail, audio mastering, a few signal processing projects, and the experience of loudness.

Fall 2016

I am teaching COMS 411: Disability, Technology, Communication, wrapping up some grant applications, attending other writing projects as time allows and continuing research on a range of topics: missile mail, audio mastering, the future of instruments, and the experience of loudness.

Summer 2016

I am mostly in Montreal, writing a major CFI grant for a digital humanities space at McGill with colleagues, attending to other writing projects as time allows and continuing research on a range of topics: missile mail, audio mastering, the future of instruments, and the experience of loudness.
