I am teaching COMS 611: Critical Perspectives on Machine Listening and COMS 411: Disability, Technology, Communication. I am working on two coauthored books: The Sound of AI (coauthored with a group of people ) and Tuning Time: Histories of Sound and Speed (co-authored with Mara Mills). I’m also slowly starting a new project on disabled musicians and sound artists (if that’s you, contact me).
WHOOPS. That post was written about a day before concussion symptoms set in. I wound up spending the term on disability leave, though am happy to report I am now recovering well. More news is forthcoming.
