Research leave! I am mostly in Montreal, with side trips to New York City (AI Now), São Paulo (Sonologia), and Los Angeles (UCLA talk and NAMM). I am working on my book Diminished Faculties: A Political Phenomenology of Impairment. Summer 2019, I will return to my co-authored book with Mara Mills, Tuning Time: Histories of Sound and Speed, and will spend June 2019 in Berlin at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science.
