I am a fellow in residence at the Center for Advanced Study in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University for the 2010-11 academic year. I am making final edits to the manuscript for MP3: The Meaning of a Format (Duke University Press, 2012) and assembling materials for The Sound Studies Reader (Routledge, 2012ish). I am also reading a lot of books and articles and beginning some new projects.
